Innovating Plastic Surgery Techniques
His work in this laboratory was funded by multiple grants from the Plastic Surgery Foundation and was published in leading scientific journals, leading to patented treatment breakthroughs for cancer survivors. His passion for plastic surgical reconstruction also led him to complete a fellowship in the care and reconstruction of severely burned patients at New York City’s busiest Burn Center, also at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell.
He then went on to train at the elite Harvard Plastic Surgery Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. It was here that Dr. Gardenier gained world-class expertise in all aspects of plastic surgery, including all aspects of aesthetic surgery of the face, breasts, and body, as well as nonsurgical rejuvenation from many of the leading masters of plastic surgery. He is currently Board-Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and he is Board-Eligible in Plastic Surgery with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
