Hi, I’m Jessica the Spa Coordinator here @ MPS! I have most likely chatted with each of you who have inquired or visited our Spa. I want to share with you the most important step in any treatment plan,  the follow-up appointment, after treatment. Whether it is Botox, Filler, Microblading, Diamond Glow, Coolpeel, or Laser Hair Removal, this important step is the one most often overlooked. We are here to make you feel and look your best, so doing a follow-up appointment whether it’s your first visit with us or we see you weekly, is so important!

Communication is key and at a follow-up visit, we like to review pre-treatment photos, assess results, understand how the treatments and at-home care fit into your lifestyle, and make any tweaks or changes in your treatment program to ensure we are on track to achieve your goals.

With Botox or Filler treatment, your follow-up will be scheduled 2-3 weeks post-treatment. In the first two to three weeks swelling is decreasing, the product is settling, and results are not finalized. After the two-week mark, we can assess and see your final result! If you need a little tweak it would happen at the follow-up appointment. Anything sooner and we would not be able to treat or tweak as the Botox or Filler has not fully settled. Anything after this timeframe aging, environmental, and lifestyle factors impact results and it might be considered a whole new treatment, rather than just a follow-up.

With PMU services, like Microblading or Lip Blushing, we will schedule your follow-up appointment  4-6 weeks post-treatment. Facials, microneedling, and Coolpeel have a similar recommended follow-up timeframe. The good news is as your treatment concierge, I will assist you in setting up these appointments at the proper timeframe. All you need to do is show up!

Life is busy! I get it, but if you want to protect your investment, feel and look your best, take my advice, and don’t skip the follow-up appointment.

Yours truly,
Jessica, the Spa Coordinator
