It is certainly not business as usual in this digital age with CEOs of multinational digital companies barely out of their teenage years. Anyone in their 30’s or 40’s seeking employment in this young industry may feel at a disadvantage, and rightly so. It’s often difficult to be seen as an asset by a boss who is 20 years younger.

So, men have taken a cue from women and have started visiting plastic surgeons for a variety of procedures to keep them looking their youthful best. Men are taking advantage of everything from eyebrow lifts and eyelid surgery to procedures that define the chin, neck and jaw and trim the torso. They are going for non-surgical treatments too. Botox® and other injected fillers are so popular that I’ve seen Botox® referred to as “brotox.”

Cosmetic surgery is widely accepted and is beginning to be used as a preventative anti-aging measure. Young women and men are opting for dermal fillers at the first sign of a wrinkle. With the popularity of tummy tucks and butt lifts, lip enhancement, breast reduction for men and women, ear pinning, nose jobs, our population is going to be more youthful looking than ever before.

It is imperative, however, for men to do the research required to find a plastic surgeon that has experience with the procedure they are seeking. Make sure the surgeon has done the procedure on men. Schedule consultations with several reputable Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. Many surgeons today have imaging machines that will allow you to see the most likely outcome of the surgery during a consultation. The most important thing about cosmetic procedures is that they look natural giving you the appearance you want.
