One of its advantages is its pliant gel consistency, which may provide a smoother, more natural-looking appearance than some of its more rigid predecessors. The gel is also made of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. The effects can last from six to nine months.
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel is new on the scene and is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume specifically to the cheek area. Radiesse® is an innovative filler that has been used for many years in prosthetic implants in dental, facial and orthopedic surgery. The product consists of calcium hydroxylapatite, which is a normal constituent of bone and, therefore, does not require allergy testing. Unlike other fillers, Radiesse® is not absorbed by the body. Therefore, there is no need to over-fill the wrinkle. Radiesse® is pre-loaded in syringes for use in treating and correcting your facial lines and other soft tissue defects.
