How Do Eyelash Extensions Work?
The process of applying eyelash extensions is quick and simple. Once the custom lash extensions have been selected, they’re attached to the person’s natural eyelashes using a medical-grade adhesive. There are, however, several different common types of eyelash extensions and enhancements available:
Individual Lash Extensions
Individual lash extensions are the most common type of eyelash enhancement. These extensions consist of single bands of natural or synthetic hair, which are attached to each eyelash individually.
Strip Lashes
Instead of individual lashes, strip lashes consist of multiple bands of synthetic or natural hair combined into one band, which is applied to the eyelids as a full piece. Strip lashes are also known as false lashes and are used as full eyelash replacements.
Cluster Lashes
Cluster lashes feature several individual natural or synthetic fibers, which are clumped together and attached to the eyelids.
Magnetic Lashes
Magnetic lashes are special eyelashes made of multiple tiny magnets, which can be attached to each other as well as to the natural eyelashes.
